Type: Full-time
The Role
We’re looking for an AI Consultant who blends strategic insight with hands-on capability. You’ll work directly with clients to understand their needs, design practical AI solutions, and help bring those systems to life. This role is equal parts technical lead, product architect, and problem-solver.
What You’ll Do
- Translate client needs into actionable AI solutions—from POC to production
- Scope and design systems involving computer vision, NLP, predictive analytics, or custom ML workflows
- Build rapid prototypes using Python, PyTorch, or industry-relevant frameworks
- Advise on data strategy, labeling pipelines, and model training approaches
- Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure deployment is efficient and robust
- Stay sharp on current ML trends, but focus on what's actually useful in production
- Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Must-Have Skills
- 4+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or consulting
- Proven ability to go from discovery call to deployed solution
- Deep understanding of model selection, evaluation, and optimization
- Strong Python skills, with experience using ML libraries like PyTorch, scikit-learn, or Hugging Face
- Comfortable working with structured and unstructured data across domains
- Confident speaking with clients, scoping requirements, and challenging bad ideas diplomatically
- Ability to write technical proposals and light-touch documentation
Bonus Points For
- Experience in edge AI, real-time systems, or computer vision
- Prior work with clients in defense, logistics, or industrial automation
- Background in systems integration, API design, or lightweight MLOps
- GitHub, blog, or demo projects showing your approach to real-world problems
- Consulting or freelance experience
